Italian Turkey Burgers
Ingredients:
- 1 lb extra lean ground turkey (could use lean for a more juicy burger)
- 1-2 medium zucchini, grated or diced
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Directions:
- In a large bowl, combine zucchini, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, oregano, and black pepper. Mix well and form into 4 oz patties. You should make 4 patties if you are using 1 lb of ground turkey.
- Add 1 tbsp to a large skillet and heat on medium.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until cooked. You can also cook these patties in the oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes after browning each side in a frying pan.
- Add desired toppings and enjoy :)
